Hi! I’m Kayleigh Mark, a 2D Artist and Animator dedicated to character-driven storytelling. 

 

I am a graduate of Emily Carr University of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Media Arts in 2D + Experimental Animation. My passion lies in the "spark" of animation, that moment where a character's personality and movement align to tell a compelling story. During my time at Emily Carr, I directed and animated my own capstone short film, managing the entire production workflow from initial storyboarding and design to final lighting and compositing.

​I thrive in collaborative environments and am a quick study with industry-standard tools. My core workflow includes:

• 2D Animation & Design: Expert use of Harmony, Adobe Animate, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

• 3D Foundations: Foundational experience in organic modeling and layout using Blender and ZBrush.

• Storytelling: Strong focus on storyboarding, narrative structure, and cinematic composition.
